Is the U.F.O. TW Sold on Rakuten? (And the Rest of the U.F.O. Series)

This article is about buying in Japan, on Rakuten Ichiba (one of Japan's biggest online marketplaces). The short answer: when I checked in March 2023, none of these U.F.O. series toys were sold on Rakuten:

Is the U.F.O. TW Sold on Rakuten?

Rakuten search results for "UFO TW": only unrelated products such as robot toys and a children's DVD — Screenshot of Rakuten's search results for "UFO TW" (in Japanese), March 2023. No U.F.O. TW anywhere.

I've searched Rakuten for the U.F.O. TW every now and then, and I've never once seen it listed there (checked up to March 2023).

Update (September 2026)
When I searched Rakuten Ichiba on September 25, 2026 (without logging in), there were 0 results for the U.F.O. TW itself.
Adult items only show up after age verification, so I can't say for certain that it isn't sold there.
The only things the search turned up were parts for TW-only accessories (the clip and the flower attachment).

Manufacturer warranty terms

The U.F.O. TW and U.F.O. MOBILE come with a 3-month warranty from the date of purchase.
You're covered even without the warranty card, but you need a receipt or other document that shows the purchase date.
Used and hand-me-down units are not covered.
I explain how to buy from NLS in my guide to buying a new U.F.O. TW.

I Also Checked Rakuma, Rakuten's Flea-Market App

The only one I found was a used unit for ¥25,000 — and one of its cups wouldn't even power on (March 2023).

Update (September 2026)
When I searched Rakuma for “UFO TW” and “U.F.O. TW” on September 25, 2026, there were 0 U.F.O. TW units listed.
Rakuma's official guide says items meant for adult use may not be listed.

I don't recommend buying a U.F.O. TW at auction or second-hand.
