A10 Cyclone SA: 10 Downsides and Bad Reviews (Does It Really Catch Hair?)
Everyone only writes the good things about the A10 Cyclone SA PLUS, so I'm going to be honest and write the bad points I found after actually using it.
This review is based on my own experience with both the A10 Cyclone SA PLUS and the A10 Piston SA.
People's tastes really split between the piston type and the rotating type.
I thought I personally preferred the A10 Piston SA, but once I bought the Oral sleeve for the A10 Cyclone SA PLUS, it felt insanely good.
Make sure you get one.

My Take: 10 Downsides of the A10 Cyclone SA PLUS (and the Bad Reviews)
The included Medusa sleeve doesn't feel good
I found it too weak.
I recommend buying a sleeve that suits you right away.
The most popular one, and my recommendation, is the Oral sleeve.
When I used the Medusa sleeve I honestly thought it was crap — but after buying the Oral, my opinion did a complete 180.

It doesn't feel very synced
I'd say the A10 Piston SA feels more in sync with the video.
Especially with small, fine movements, the A10 Piston feels better.
For example, when the blowjob in the video is made of small, delicate movements, I sometimes think, “I'm barely feeling this…”
It's the A10 Piston that reproduces those small movements in fine detail.
With a rotating motion, there are always scenes in VR videos that just don't match.
The piston makes me come on its own, but with the rotating type I have a hard time finishing unless I thrust my hips myself.
That said, the included Medusa is weak, and buying a separate A10 Cyclone SA PLUS sleeve doubled how good it felt and fixed the problem.
Personally, I recommend buying the A10 Piston.

Small, quick movements feel so-so
Big rotations feel great, but with small, quick movements I can't tell “whether it's moving or not.”
For quick little blowjob or thrusting movements, the A10 Piston feels far better than the A10 Cyclone SA PLUS.
With the A10 Cyclone SA PLUS, at least in my case, I couldn't finish without moving my hips myself.
There's no dedicated case for the sleeve
The A10 Piston has a dedicated case for its sleeves; the A10 Cyclone SA PLUS doesn't.
So if you need a dedicated case, that's a downside.
But if you dry the sleeve right away and put it back in the A10 Cyclone SA PLUS, it's not really a problem.
Friction makes the sleeve hot
A rotating motion creates a lot of friction.
So the inside of the sleeve heats up quickly.
Be especially careful in summer.
In winter it may not get that hot.
Using plenty of lotion prevents the heat-up.
I recommend using the lotion made by the manufacturer for these machines.
It isn't sticky and has just the right thickness, so cleanup is easy too.
The amount of lotion that comes in the box is very small.
Buy a big bottle of VORZE lotion together with your A10 Cyclone SA PLUS.

It uses a lot of lotion
You need lots of lotion to prevent friction from the rotation.
Maybe because of all that friction, it dries out easily.
A few times, it dried out while I was watching a VR video and I had to stop the video and add more lotion.
Expect to use about three times as much lotion as with the A10 Piston.
It's a hassle
Cleaning up afterwards is always a hassle.
Still, I get horny, the pleasure wins, and I use it even though it's a pain.
Just using my right hand would be way faster, honestly.
It catches hair
Getting hair caught is something a lot of A10 Cyclone SA PLUS owners mention in their reviews.
But you can solve it by using more lotion.
At first I used too little lotion, and my hair got caught too.
I'm worried about how durable the sleeve holder is
Compared with the A10 Piston, the sleeve holder feels flimsy.
It feels quite plasticky.
Here's one review I found:
“The inner sleeve holder feels a bit fragile and I'm worried it will break, but after about 20 uses it's of course still perfectly fine.”
There's also a small tab at the tip of the sleeve holder, and I feel it could break easily. ↓↓
The sleeves aren't very durable
The A10 Cyclone SA PLUS sleeves are less durable than the A10 Piston's.
The A10 Piston's sleeve has a plastic part like this where it sets into the holder.
The A10 Cyclone SA PLUS sleeve has no plastic part, so the downside is that this area gets stretched.
Here's a review I found:
“To be specific, the sleeve is held by six pins, and the rotation slowly shifts it. Several times the pin holes stretched until the sleeve came off, and eventually a pin hole tore.”
There also seem to be some defective sleeves: a few reviews (not many) said a sleeve arrived with a thin spot that tore easily.
Replacement parts aren't sold
When I wrote this in August 2022, parts like the sleeve holder (inner case) for the A10 Cyclone SA PLUS weren't sold separately. That has changed: as of September 2026, NLS sells an A10 Cyclone SA inner case for ¥1,672 on its VORZE series spare parts page.
For the A10 Piston, they were already sold (NLS lists its inner case at ¥2,057 as of September 2026).

Back then, if the sleeve holder or another part broke, you had to buy a whole new A10 Cyclone SA PLUS.
VORZE offered paid repairs for the A10 Cyclone SA PLUS (as of 2022), so you might have been able to get a new holder through a paid repair — now you can simply buy the inner case.
But it means going back and forth with the manufacturer by email, which is a hassle.

My Take: The Good Points of the A10 Cyclone
The motor is strong, so it keeps moving
Maybe it's the nature of rotation, but it seems to handle load better than a piston motion.
With the A10 Piston, if I skimped on lotion, the friction got so high that it force-stopped several times.
When the A10 Piston is under load, the front lid pops off, and it used to pinch my hair and skin…
With the A10 Cyclone SA PLUS, though, it never force-stopped from friction while I was using it.
Cheap Chinese-made toys just don't move with this kind of power, so in the end buying cheap costs you more.
I recommend just going for the A10 Cyclone SA PLUS.
It's light
Compared with the A10 Piston, it's light.
That said, it's still about the size of a 1.5-liter plastic bottle.
It weighs about the same as one, too: NLS lists it at 1,410 g (the A10 Piston SA is 2,292 g without its sleeve).
Still, being able to hold it in one hand is a big plus.
It's much easier to handle.
When something's small, everything feels easier.
Cleaning up afterwards felt easier too.
Mounted in the Den-Ona Holder (NLS's mount for electric masturbators), it was also easier to use than the A10 Piston.
You can turn the sleeve inside out to wash it
Officially, turning the sleeve inside out isn't recommended.
But at your own risk, I think washing it inside out is fine.
When you can wash it inside out, you stop worrying that it isn't really clean, so it feels more hygienic.
The A10 Piston's sleeve was too thick to turn inside out, so I found this a big advantage.
Plenty of other A10 Cyclone SA PLUS users mention this advantage in their reviews, too.
It's quiet
Even at top speed, it can't be heard in the next room.
Try it yourself: when nobody's home, run it at top speed and go into the next room.
You shouldn't be bothered by the sound.
Once you're not worried about noise, you can enjoy life with the A10 Cyclone SA PLUS without stress.

The sleeve holder comes out easily
It's held by magnets, so it's really easy to take out.
There's no release button to press.
It's held on quite firmly, so give it a good pull.
The front lid comes off easily
The front lid is held by magnets, with no clips.
The magnets hold it firmly in place.
It stays put so firmly that you don't have to worry about it coming off mid-session.
Incredibly realistic simulated sex
It would be a waste not to buy a VR headset like this.
I was surprised that even with rotation, it can make small, quick turns that trick you into feeling a thrusting motion.
But even with plenty of lotion, sometimes the movements were so tiny I couldn't really tell if it was moving.
Still, it syncs properly, and it matches the VR videos closely.

You can control it from a smartphone
I don't use the smartphone controls myself, but they make things more fun, like playing remotely with a girlfriend.
The A10 Piston can be controlled from a smartphone too.
If you play alone, you can just use the buttons on the A10 Cyclone SA PLUS itself, so it's not a feature you really need.

Paid repairs are available
If the A10 Cyclone SA PLUS breaks, the manufacturer will repair it for a fee (as of 2022).
The A10 Piston SA couldn't be repaired (as of 2022).
It also comes with a 3-month warranty (still 3 months from the purchase date as of September 2026, valid in Japan only), which the A10 Piston SA didn't have.

Summary
I've written a lot of bad things about the A10 Cyclone SA PLUS, but the truth is it's far ahead of cheap Chinese-made electric masturbators.
Once I bought the Oral sleeve, it felt dramatically better.
As you'd expect from a product that took a long time to develop.
Still, personally I think the A10 Piston SA feels better.
The A10 Cyclone SA PLUS beats the A10 Piston in many ways, like weight and price (as of September 24, 2026, NLS sells it for ¥19,800 versus ¥49,800 for the A10 Piston SA PLUS), but in the end what matters most is how good it feels.
