Can Mods Really Make the A10 Piston SA Feel Better?
*Modding the A10 Piston SA comes with real risks. If you try any of this, you do it at your own risk.
I looked into what kinds of mods people are actually doing.
Most of them swap in a different onahole (a Japanese masturbation sleeve) instead of the official one.
There are tons of reviews saying that swapping or modding the sleeve made the A10 Piston SA’s stimulation “dramatically better.”
I couldn’t find anyone who took the A10 Piston SA itself apart to mod it.
The manual for the current A10 Piston SA +PLUS forbids taking it apart, repairing it, or modifying it yourself.
Plenty of people say modding the official sleeve, or switching to a different one, made it “feel insanely good,” so if the stock setup no longer does it for you, it’s worth a try.
At first the official sleeve felt plenty good without any mods…
but eventually it started to feel routine, so I tried all sorts of things.

The Risks of Modding the A10 Piston SA
Before anything else, here are the risks of modding the A10 Piston SA.
The A10 Piston SA is designed to stop under heavy load, but a mod could still get you injured.
When the +PLUS stops under load, its mode light blinks red.
The manual says to insert first and then raise the speed a little at a time.
Keep each session under 60 minutes.
Don't put lube or anything else on any part except the sleeve.
Some mods also make it much more likely to break.
So my advice is to go in with the attitude of “I’m bored of my A10 Piston SA anyway — I’ll mod it and accept that it might break.”
Depending on the size of the onahole, some are hard to fit in.
I recommend experimenting with onaholes you already own.
The A10 Piston SA has no warranty anyway, so there’s no point worrying that a mod will “void the warranty.”
A correction to the “no warranty” line above:
the current +PLUS comes with an official VORZE warranty for 3 months from the date of purchase.
However, breakdowns caused by repairs or mods done by anyone other than the maker are not covered.
The manufacturer doesn’t repair the A10 Piston SA.
Today, VORZE does paid repairs on the +PLUS, which charges over USB-C.
But VORZE officially states that the older A10 Piston SA, which charges with an adapter, can’t get paid repairs (checked September 25, 2026).

[Mod] Cut Off the Plastic Ring at the Opening of the Official A10 Piston SA Sleeve
The opening of the official sleeve has a plastic ring that locks it firmly into the A10 Piston SA.
The plastic part is attached to the sleeve, not to the machine.
Without it, the piston can move through a longer range.
↓ Normally the white plastic ring is held in place, so the sleeve gets stretched rather than moved, and the stroke on your penis is shorter.
Cut that plastic off, and the sleeve really works your whole penis.
But that plastic is also a safety part, and without it there’s a risk of getting your penis caught in the machine.
This plastic part is the “upper frame” that holds the opening in place.
Before you cut it off, consider switching to a different official sleeve instead.

Cut the Official A10 Piston SA Sleeve into an Open-Ended One
The official A10 Piston SA sleeve is closed at the end.
That makes it a pain to wash.
I found one daredevil who cut off the bottom of the official sleeve to make it open-ended.
Once it’s open at both ends, it’s much easier to wash.
But with an open end, there’s a risk of semen running down into the A10 Piston SA itself.
The person who did this mod stopped leaks by tucking tissue under the bottom of the case that holds the sleeve.
In other words, the tissue soaks it up before it gets any further.
It’s still very risky, so the safe way to try it is with a condom on at first.
And lube will drip out, too.
The machine isn’t waterproof, so if fluid gets inside, it could break.
VORZE's official FAQ says the +PLUS is not waterproof either.
Only the sleeve and the inner case can be washed with water; the main unit and the entrance cap (front lid) can't.
When I wrote this in May 2022, the A10 Piston SA had no warranty or repair service, so please be careful.
The “no warranty or repair service” above doesn't apply to the current +PLUS.

Using RENDS’s own official lotion should also lower the risk of leaks, since it’s quite thick.
Fitting “Mada Namae ga Arimasen” into the A10 Piston SA
Any damage is at your own risk.
Isn’t this insane?
Look at that stroke, lol.
It isn’t recommended for the A10 Piston SA, but some people fit a different onahole into it and enjoy it that way.
Since it’s not an official sleeve, it doesn’t have the six holes that lock it in place.
Only friction keeps it from moving, so thin onaholes won’t work.
Fitting It in the +PLUS and the BASIC
NLS reviewers say “Mada Namae ga Arimasen” fits the +PLUS's inner case almost perfectly.With the cheaper BASIC model, though, reviewers say it's shorter than the official sleeve, so it sinks inside.
That’s why the best move is to buy an onahole that people before you have actually used and reviewed.
Lots of reviewers say “Mada Namae ga Arimasen” (literally “No Name Yet”) fits and that they’re happy with it.
It doesn’t look pretty, but the value for money is insane… lol

When I wrote this in May 2022, it cost about the same as an official A10 Piston SA sleeve — roughly ¥2,500.
As of September 25, 2026, “Mada Namae ga Arimasen” costs ¥2,860 at NLS and is in stock.
The official Sleeve 2.0 is ¥2,970 (about US$19), so they're still about the same price.

[Perfect Fit] Modding It with the Shuriken Soft Onahole
One review said this “Shuriken Soft” onahole was a huge hit.
Apparently it’s a perfect fit and doesn’t slip out of place.

What People Say About “A10 Piston SA Mods” on X (Twitter)
When I searched in May 2022, I couldn’t find any posts on X (then Twitter) from people who had modded theirs.
On X (formerly Twitter), I've now found posts from people who modded the +PLUS's official sleeve.
There are also posts saying store-bought onaholes that don't fit the inner case slipped out or shifted during use.
And some say their modded official sleeve broke quickly.
